This conference has been designed for lead teachers of science or strand leaders. The day has been designed to be flexible in terms of choice to enable delegates to select sessions which are most appropriate to support them on their professional development journey.

Who is the course leader?

Outcomes

  • You will have a greater understanding of the barriers for learning for SEND pupils and have strategies to support their progress.
  • You will have strategies to support students with Maths in Science
  • You will consider the research on the science of learning and how it can support you in the teaching.
  • You will think about your current observation policy and how effective this is in supporting improvements.
  • You will find out who are STEM Ambassadors? How can we engage with them easily / safely and impactfully?
  • How can you link lessons to STEM in the working world without affecting curriculum time?
