Summary
This session will help you to recognise the barriers that SEN(D) learners are likely to experience in science lessons and to develop your repertoire of strategies that might be used to lower barriers and meet needs. We will also focus on developing students’ reading, writing and oracy skills in science lessons, looking at strategies that will help learners to engage with the language of science and scientific texts.
