Summary

This session will focus on preparing for a deep dive in primary science. 

There is a 50% Teacher Release Payment available from STEM Learning. Please note that this does not deduct the fee immediately.  You will receive an invoice for the full amount and the Teacher Release Payment will be released back to the school once attendance at the session has been confirmed.

Local Authority maintained schools will be fully reimbursed for the session fee via Cheshire East Council.

Who is the course leader?

Outcomes

By the end of this course you will:

  • understand the key roles of a subject leader during a science deep dive
  • consider the key questions to ask about the quality and consistency of your science provision
  • reflect on the effectiveness of monitoring and evaluation of learning in science
  • identify actions for improvement plans, impacting on children’s learning and the establishment of some key priorities with staff
