Summary

Technology can support SEND learners in many ways. You will explore technology for communication, accessibility tools built into to mainstream applications, and effective approaches to support learners with a wide range of additional needs and disabilities to ensure that your classroom is as inclusive as possible.

  • identify ways to support curriculum access and inclusion for pupils with SEND using technology
  • recognise highly effective strategies for teaching and learning of SEND pupils using technology 
  • action plan changes in your practice to support the SEND pupils in your school
