Summary
Increase confidence in our delivery of practical lessons through developing a deeper understanding of when to use them and some of the common pitfalls of practical activity, by:

- Considering why we do practical work in science;
- Reflecting on how we best develop learners’ understanding and skills through practical work;
- Exploring how we present and stage practical activities and demonstrations so that they deliver learning effectively
