Wirral Primary conference:  Finding the Optimum – Building beyond…

This is for Wirral schools who would like to subscribe to the conference, the fee is £50 per maintained school. A Teacher Release Payment of £25 is available for maintained schools. Please note that this does not deduct the fee immediately.  You will receive an invoice for the full amount and the Teacher Release Payment will be released back to the school once attendance at the event has been confirmed.

A separate booking link for the conference (with no fees attached) will be shared once your school has subscribed, you can then make your bookings for your Headteacher and Subject Leader.

Summary:

Building on the evidence from the Ofsted Science Subject Report, we will explore what makes for great science in our schools.

Following a keynote, in which we explore the major findings for both headteachers and science subject leads, there will be a marketplace and a choice of workshops including sessions on assessment and working scientifically.

Outcomes:

By the end of the conference you will have:

• Considered what constitutes good practice in primary science and reflected on the position in your own setting.
• Taken part in a choice of workshops.
• Networked with colleagues and shared ideas.
