Why link Science and Maths?
Gathering data & using Statistics in a real life setting at Slimbridge WWF
Following on from Session1, this 2nd session will cover Collecting, analysing and presenting data in primary science requires and provides opportunity for the use and development of mathematical skills.
Throughout this course, you will identify how to maximise your pupils' opportunities to develop their numeracy skills and improve attainment in science by planning lessons in which children effectively handle data. You will be provided with skills and tools to support the implementation of developing mathematics skills in your science lessons.
