Summary
Having read the "Finding the optimum: OFSTED science subject report" I was struck by how many references there are to transition.
It makes comments like "It is therefore important that, where possible, primary and secondary subject leaders communicate to ensure they are knowledgeable about each other's curriculums".
With this in mind, I would like to invite your Year 5 and Year 6 teachers to a transition event to meet and talk with other local primary schools and the Science teachers at St Clement Danes School.
Please bring: Examples of Year 5 and 6 pupils science work, curriculum plans and any other evidence that would help us all to become knowledgeable about each other's curriculum.
