Summary

Teaching pupils with any degree of SEND can present challenges for supporting them to access the entire curriculum.  Specifically aimed at primary teachers this course will cover aspects of differentiation, vocabulary development, support to engage within group tasks and ways to adapt practical tasks for pupils of all abilities in science.  During the course, there will be a focus on ways to ensure all pupils can access science activities and take an active part in the learning. You will explore ideas for SEND provision in science, differentiated assessment techniques and look at curriculum design with adaptions for SEND.
