Summary

Our primary conferences always provide outstanding learning opportunities linked to topical developments in primary science teaching alongside time to talk and share ideas with other primary practitioners.

The keynote speaker is Eleanor Belfield, HMI and Ofsted Science Subject Lead. The focus of the keynote will be on the findings of the Ofsted Science report, “Finding the optimum”, giving you an opportunity to consider the implications for teaching and learning in your school.

This conference includes a Q&A session, focusing on the 'Finding the Optimum' report. Questions can be submitted prior to the event to be directed to the keynote speaker, Eleanor Bellfield and discussed on the day.

Choose a session from each of the following workshops:

Workshop 1:

  • Linking Maths & Science with Linda Atherton

These are available to Maintained schools, making the total cost only £30.00.  Please email NMSLP@potteries.ac.uk to ask for the TRP code to be used at the point of booking. Please note that this does not automatically deduct the fee immediately.  You will receive an invoice for the full amount and the Teacher Release Payment will be released back to the school once attendance at the event has been confirmed.
