Summary
This short session aims to transform behaviour in your classroom by making small shifts in your own approaches. It is aimed at providing early career teachers with the skills and techniques needed to confidently manage behaviour for learning in the science classroom.
You will develop a good understanding of how to be proactive about encouraging good behaviour in your classroom and reactive in responding calmly to disruptive or unacceptable behaviour.
The session will focus on strategies that can be used with whole classes and individual students, how to plan for success and special considerations that should be kept in mind when carrying out practical or investigative lessons..
