During this session, we will consider the latest research evidence on what causes our disadvantaged learners to fall behind their non-disadvantaged peers in terms of both attainment and progress in science.  We will then share strategies to support disadvantaged learners, reflecting on our current provision and considering where we can tweak practice or focus on strategies more explicitly.
