Summary
Understanding ‘working scientifically’ is vital for children to develop ideas, skills, knowledge and understanding in Science. You will be able to confidently implement strategies for planning, resourcing and organising enquiry that challenges scientific thinking and build on a progression of scientific skills.

Outcomes
You will be able to:
- Understand the progression in working scientifically skills and how to teach these skills effectively.
- Understand the different enquiry types and be able to plan for a range of these in your teaching to answer scientific questions.
- Implement a wide range of strategies in your classroom for planning, resourcing and organising enquiry to support working scientifically and ‘big ideas’ in Science.
