· An understanding of the types of thinking that typify the SEND learner in science,
· Access to a range of activities to support the development of thinking of SEND learners,
· Knowledge of how Piagetian levels of thinking support science teaching,
An understanding of SEND-friendly pedagogy for use to develop thinking in science.
