16th Jan

DC Circuit Theory 2:Current and Charge , Mean drift velocity,  I=nave, Resistivity of a wire ,Electrical power and Energy , Exams techniques and Misconceptions.

 

20st March

Circular Motion, C.P.F, banked tracked, conical pendulum, Practical, misconceptions, Teaching Challenges, and tips.  

Extension: Ideal gas laws, Kinetic theory of gases, Ideal gas assumptions, Boltzmann constant, Mean K.E of particles, Derivations

Outcomes

A Subject Knowledge enhancement course for teachers who are new to teaching A level Physics. This will include key practical work with hands-on setting up equipment.

  • develop engaging and highly effective approaches to the teaching of core content including practical demonstrations and investigations
  • develop a wide skills set amongst your learners, including mathematical skills, application skills and independent learning.
