Have you got what it takes to keep a busy road safe!?
We’ve teamed up with The STEM Hub and Minecraft to recreate the Lower Thames Crossing as games. In aid of STEM Clubs Week, we would like to welcome you and your pupils to take part in a live code along session on 30th June playing one of our Minecraft games - Speed Safety
Using Make Code, you will be managing road signs to respond to different events, including flooding and animals on the road and will have the chance to programme an in-game agent as if it were a car.
In the games, you will also have the chance to explore the range of STEM jobs and skills used to build a large infrastructure project.
To take part in the live code along you will need to undertake this training session on 14th June. This session will provide an opportunity to find out what is required on the day in terms of set-up and to see how the game works to ensure on the day the Code Along Live goes as smoothly as it can.
Outcomes
