This is a chance for collaboration with your peers so you can share information and develop as a leader.

An expert consultant will help you identify priority issues in teaching and learning and professional development for your teams.

Agenda items for this meeting include:

  • Exams update 2023 (input from AQA)
  • Local and regional update including sign-posting new resources
  • An exploration of issues around workload
  • Session on disciplinary literacy

You will be able to develop solutions, drawing on the expertise within the group. This strengthening of informal school-to-school support will create an effective network of information, advice and guidance.

This is an opportunity to learn from an expert consultant regarding current issues affecting secondary science departments. We will look at a range of issues from work load to examination preparation.
