Secondary Science & Computing Conference: Raising Aspirations in Science & Computing RM227 / B03
Summary
Secondary School Science & Computer Teachers from all Key Stages are invited to join us for an inspiring day of professional development activities.
After two difficult years coping with the challenges of the pandemic, science teachers can now focus on their key role – engaging, motivating and raising the aspirations of all students
The Kent & Medway Secondary Science & Computing Conference will be held in the new Verena Holmes building at Canterbury Christ Church University. This new addition to the campus locates engineers, scientists, doctors and healthcare students together in an inspirational learning environment, with industry-standard, hi-tech facilities on every floor. It provides space for research, experimentation, industry collaboration and so much more.
Participants will enjoy a range of optional workshops – some of them based in the new laboratories – and tour areas of the building. Teachers will be impressed by the facilities and will undoubtedly share with their students details of the many STEM opportunities on offer.
