Summary
Subject leader conferences and CPD
We have two conferences throughout the year which are opportunities for subject leaders to come together to receive CPD and updates regarding pedagogy, assessment, Ofsted, Covid recovery, practical science and more. Conferences will take place in Summer 2022, Autumn 2022 and Summer 2023 in Birmingham, Coventry and Worcester. Priced at £185 per conference.
CPD courses
We have regular CPD courses taking place throughout the year on subject knowledge and pedagogy. Priced at £185 per course.
Subject Leader Zoom Network
Our SL Zoom network runs half-termly and is an opportunity for SLs across the West Midlands to receive important updates and work together collaboratively and share best practice. Priced at £150 to join the network.
Bespoke CPD
We can come and deliver CPD at your school to the full department on any topic of your choice: pedagogy, assessment, subject knowledge, Ofsted – or whatever your needs are. Cost £450 per half day.
Silver package
Silver = x 2 places at a conference or CPD event, auto-enrolment onto science subject leader network, x 2 bespoke CPD sessions.
Silver (actual cost = £1420):
Cost to subscribe = £1000
Teacher Release Payment = £750 - email slp@bishopchalloner.bham.sch.uk to access this.
Net cost to school = £250
