Your regional NCCE Computing Hubs of Pate’s Grammar School and The Castle School are working with the micro:bit Foundation to bring thousands of micro:bit programmable devices to schools in the South West of England.
Not only can your school receive a donation of 20 micro:bits for free but you can also attend free remote and face to face professional development to help you integrate the use of micro:bits in your curriculum.
The micro:bit in the Teach Computing Curriculum for Year 6: You’ll be provided with a run through of the unit, learn how to make best use of the micro:bit and tips and tricks to make sure that your first delivery of this unit has the greatest impact.
