CLEAPSS Don't buy it, make it! RM298 / D89
Summary
This one-day practical course is aimed at science technicians who wish to save their schools money by making science equipment at less cost than buying “off the shelf”. The objective of the course is for participants to gain experience in soldering, using hand tools and working with different materials to make a selection of items featured in CLEAPSS Make-it guides. The items range from those which can be made from materials found in the prep room and/or purchased from DIY outlets to those which can be made from more sophisticated components. Participants will take away everything that they make along with ideas for future diy projects.
