Professor Abrahams will tell us about the current research in education on Practical work and how to translate the research into effective teaching and learning in schools. He will talk about Hands on, Minds on approach during a practical and how we can best achieve that.

- evaluate your secondary science practical work to determine how well you develop progression of disciplinary knowledge to support higher student attainment through practical work
- consider strategies to overcome challenges in your own context in delivering effective practical science
