Summary
Physical computing involves programming digital devices to sense and interact with the world – an engaging alternative to screen-only activity. It touches upon many areas of the computing curriculum, bringing subject knowledge and programming skills to engaging and enjoyable classroom activities.
During this practical CPD session, you’ll explore how the Micro:bit can be used in the classroom to support the Year 6 teach computing unit. The CPD will help you gain confidence in teaching using the Micro:bit, and the free Teach Computing Curriculum.
You will then be given details on how you can loan class kits from us for free to support implementation in school. -
