Subject Leader Updates – 3rd March 2022
Working scientifically – covering the tricky areas
During this meeting we will explore working scientifically across the whole school science curriculum. We will explore each of the working scientifically areas as well as identifying and sharing 'tricky areas' and how working scientifically works best in each area of science learning.
By the end of this session you will:
- recap and refresh yourself with the working scientifically part of the science curriculum.
- have opportunity to share ideas and thoughts on experiences in the classroom.
- have a bank of ideas for each area of working scientifically within each unit of science learning.

Outcomes
You will:
- develop the teaching and assessment of working scientifically in your school
- develop your schemes of work/learning in order to enhance the teaching and learning of science in your school
