Being a member of this Science Learning Partnership network gives experienced science teachers opportunity to collaborate, share best practice, and have access to the latest developments in science education and CPD.
Why subscribe to the network?
Network membership gives access to up to three science specific teaching and learning meetings. These meetings will explore the key innovations in the science education sector to support development of “the products and practices of science” as discussed in the 2021 Ofsted review of science education. This high quality CPD from STEM Learning will improve and expand your opportunity to network with professional colleagues and access the latest national guidance and research around improving science curriculum, assessment pedagogy and systems, exploring current research and evidenced practice to take and use in your classroom.
Available sessions for 2022 are as follows:
Spring Term 2022
24th January - Purposeful practical work in Teams
8th March - Assessment to support progression in learning science in Teams
Summer Term 2022
28th April - Preconceptions/misconceptions and modelling to inform planning in Teams
16th June - Effective explanations through improving memory and recall in Teams
