Subject Knowledge Enhancement: KS3/KS4 Physics - Energy Stores RM298 / B62
Summary
Subject Knowledge Enhancement courses – support for anyone teaching KS3 or KS4 physics and looking to deepen their understanding of these three important topics: forces, circuits and energy. Ideal for non-specialists (those teaching physics outside their degree specialism), early-careers teachers, NQTs, trainees
KS3/KS4 Physics - Energy Stores
Nobody really knows what energy is! However, the concept has relevance to all three sciences. The new approach of energy stores and pathways may still be unfamiliar to many. We will introduce some useful models to help understanding and tools to support teaching, with plenty of examples to embed the ideas involved.
