Subject Knowledge Enhancement: KS3/KS4 Physics - Circuits RM298 / B61
Subject Knowledge Enhancement courses – support for anyone teaching KS3 or KS4 physics and looking to deepen their understanding of these three important topics: forces, circuits and energy. Ideal for non-specialists (those teaching physics outside their degree specialism), early-careers teachers, NQTs, trainees
KS3/KS4 Physics - Circuits
Using models and simulations we will explore the meanings of voltage and current, using these to understand circuits better. Drawing on the ‘maths last’ approach we will tackle GCSE-style circuit problems.
Who is the course leader?
This is part of a series of 3 workshops which will help you gain confidence in your understanding of physics and your ability to teach it engagingly. You will be introduced to lots of ideas and resources to help in your teaching and you will have the opportunity to ask questions.
