Summary

The aim of the session will be to give an overview of what the National Centre for Computing Education (NCCE) has to offer schools.

We will focus on Subject Matter Expert (SME) support and bursaries available, the wide range of CPD opportunities available and bursaries attached, the different courses and non-specialist pathways and the physical computing available to hire and attached CPD.

The session will continue with a snapshot taster of one of the courses available Introduction to Algorithms, Programming and Data’ to give participants an insight into what a course may look like and include.

The NCCE offer provides the essential toolkit filled with inspiration and support for teaching primary and secondary computing. The offer includes training and enrichment to help you teach and lead computing curriculum and improve learning across your school.
