Summary

This course will guide science subject leaders through the aims of the Ofsted framework to develop confidence and understanding.  Participants will be encouraged to evaluate the intent, implementation and impact of their school science curriculum and identify ways to drive improvements.

You will be able to

  • understand the Ofsted inspection requirements and deep dive process
  • begin to develop a whole school vision for primary science (intent)
  • identify ways to effectively deliver the science curriculum across the school (implementation)
  • begin to develop strategies to evaluate children’s success in science (impact)
