Summary
You will learn about the literacy-related reasons why many learners cannot always access science, and how best-practice literacy teaching can be focused to improve science. During the session you will explore and develop practical approaches that are known to work well in science - from using keywords, to reading and understanding exam questions, and developing structured extended answers.
