Outcomes

  • You will have a greater understanding of the barriers for learning for disadvantaged pupils and have strategies to support their progress and educational recovery
  • You will consider the importance aspects of Health and Safety for the point of view of a leader in science
  • You will have strategies to support you when implementing change within your department or subject
  • You will find out who are STEM Ambassadors? How can we engage with them easily / safely and impactfully? How can you link lessons to STEM in the working world without affecting curriculum time?
  • You will understand the support that is available to your subject from the Royal Academy of Engineering’s Connecting STEM Teachers Programme.
