Summary
This course will explore different methods to help students develop independent learning and resilience to study GCSE science. You will develop strategies to ensure that the culture of the classroom is right and that learners develop the metacognitive skills and motivation needed to progress to higher levels of study and employment

Outcomes
By the end of the course you will be able to:
• understand what self-regulated learning is and how to build a culture which supports it;
• strengthen the resilience of pupils to cope with the demands of Triple Science;
• evaluate various strategies that can be used to develop the self-regulated and metacognitive skills of pupils.
