This course aims to engage and inspire teachers as well as improve their physics subject knowledge. The sessions continue to demonstrate a balance between theory and practical, with support commentary and shared videos from the facilitator. Course Content: 

  • Magnetic fields 
  • Magnetic field created by a current in a long straight conductor 
  • Magnetic field around a solenoid
  • A current carrying conductor placed near a magnet experiences a force 
  • Fleming’s left-hand rule 
  • F = B I L
