Summary
This session is suited for trainee primary school teachers, to look at the national curriculum for plants. Identifying the progression in this topic through the different groups to ensure the children make progress moving up the school. We will explore activities and resources that will help address misconceptions with these topics.
Outcomes
- Explore the progression of this topic through the different key stages
- Evaluate resources and activities that can be used to identify and close any gaps and challenge any misconceptions.
- Enhance subject knowledge to improve confidence when engaging children learning these topics.
