***ITT Science Training: Classroom Management of science practical RB298 / C147
This session will be invaluable to science teachers who are either managing practical work in a laboratory for the first time or due to Covid-19 restrictions are now attempting to deliver science practicals in a normal classroom. This course will cover the basic Cleapps guidance as well as suggestions of strategies that teachers need to use in the classroom to keep students safe. This presentation will also look at a range of different computer simulation resources that can be used either to replace practical work or to use alongside practical work.
- You will gain a knowledge of what the new framework and the "deep dives" will look like in your own school setting
- Develop an awareness of effective strategies to support the new framework with colleagues in outreach work
- Opportunity to network with colleagues in a similar role across both primary and secondary phases
- We will also have the opportunity to discuss the challenges of being a science SLE trying to support collegues during the pandemic
