Join us for this online version of the 'Working as a Science Technician - an introduction to the role' course.
This course will prepare you for your new role as a science technician. We will cover a range of topics including health and safety and practical next steps. This knowledge will ensure that you will be able to apply what you learn in the classroom to provide an efficient and effective support.
The course will comprise of 3 virtual sessions, delivered on Zoom. There will also be a short pre course task to complete as well as 2 gap tasks to be completed between sessions 1 and 2.
Outcomes
You will be able to:
- work towards successfully implementing the new skills and knowledge acquired on the course
- describe and apply policies, procedures and actions that will lead to an effective and efficient technical service
- describe and explain safety implications and how to address them
