This is a session from the remote STEM conference. For more details see
Themes explored; Leadership, Pedagogy and Closing the Covid gap
After a 30-minute presentation, this session will take the form of a dialogue in which Julian will respond, where he can, to questions tabled during the conference. Please submit your questions to Kim Swift (kimslp@ashtoncsc.com) for collation.
The presentation will focus on the amendments permitted by Ofqual for students who will be examined in 2021 (only) and the implications of the need to deliver a practical based curriculum for all year groups. There will be an opportunity to share structures in place in your school and how these enable practical work to be conducted in a safe and efficient manner. Delegates are asked to bring and share a summary of the approach they are following in each year group in their school, and these will be collated and returned as a summary of the current picture in the region.
