Summary
This conference will contain ideas and opportunities for all things Science and STEM. Sessions include:
- Are we there yet? by Knowledge rich learning by the Science Geek
- Stop and Think - The UnLocke Project: Learning counter-intuitive concepts in primary maths & science
- How to engage young people with STEM careers using the 12 days of Christmas as a prompt. There will be a booklet with 12 letters to open, one each day to increase young people’s Science capital.
- Hear from National Farmers Union showcasing the primary STEM teaching resources and projects that are closely linked to the National Curriculum they provide to support schools and teachers.
- There are sessions by teachers for teachers including floor books and the issue of good quality science recording, knowledge organisers , as well as ‘how to and fun and quick ideas.
Outcomes
If you book by 27th November, you will receive a special delivery! A good pack, containing:
• Work-along resources to be used during the virtual event
• Resources that can be used for practical classroom activities and investigations
• Our festive STEM book special!
