Summary
Become more confident in delivering electronics content in the Key Stage 3 and support high-quality delivery of the electronics related core content required for GCSE Design and Technology.
Through a combination of delivered activities and self-directed learning, participants will develop their knowledge of electronics & e-textiles and gain ideas for engaging activities in the classroom. This course will demonstrate how the learning can be applied across all material specialisms and reference suitable areas for collaboration with science and mathematics departments.
Outcomes
By the end of this course you will be able to:
- define key terms and principles used to teach electronics & e-textiles at key stage 3 and GCSE design and technology
- provide examples of learning, across a range of material areas
- identify activities that you can use in your classroom to engage learners with key knowledge for electronics & e-textiles
