Summary

We will be hearing from two inspirational speakers on why they decided to pursue a career in STEM, what encouarged them to keep going, who and what was their driving force and why. This is a network group to help us discuss the whys and wherofores of girsl engaging with t he world of STEM and how to encourage further interactions.

Outcomes

 

  • You will gain a knowledge of what the new framework and the "deep dives" will look like in your own school setting
  • Develop an awareness of effective strategies to support the new framework with colleagues in outreach work
  • Opportunity to network with colleagues in a similar role across both primary and secondary phases
  • We will also have the opportunity to discuss the challenges of being a science SLE trying to support collegues during the pandemic
