ITT Secondary Physics subject knowledge through key stage 3 and key stage 4 RM281 / A01
Summary
Join this series of sessions through November and December to take a look at teaching secondary physics. We will develop your subject knowledge in key areas as well as look at what progression across Key Stages 3 & 4 looks like to help plan lessons at the right level for students. These sessions are aimed specifically at those currently in ITT (Initial Teacher Training) but other early career teachers may find them useful.
All sessions will run as twilight sessions from 3:45-5pm and hosted online to be accessed remotely.
Each week we will look at a different topic, and see how students’ understanding of this topic should develop across the five years of secondary school as well as specific strategies and activities that can be used in your own teaching.
Week 1 (5th November): Energy
