A bespoke series of 1 hr remote sessions for non-specialists and those new to teaching GCSE Physics wanting to expand their scientific knowledge and understanding.
A blend of subject knowledge enhancement and subject pedagogy.
Outcomes
- Facilitators will identify misconceptions and discuss why students find the topic difficult
- Share the best teaching and learning strategies/resources to address this
- Help student engagement - e.g. through modelling, practical work, retrieval strategies, questioning etc
