This professional development experience outlines approaches to teaching primary science so that children can achieve a greater depth of learning. This is to help participants understand that when planning for progress, different types of tasks may need to be created to prove that pupils are gaining a deeper understanding of the same content

To have increased confidence in planning teaching to ensure children deepen their understanding.
To be able to plan tasks to enable children to demonstrate a deeper understanding of their scientific learning.
£10 for maintained schools
£30 for non-maintained schools
Outcomes
You will:
- develop the teaching and assessment of working scientifically in your school
- develop your schemes of work/learning in order to enhance the teaching and learning of science in your school
