Linking STEM curriculum learning to careers (upgraded access) NE712 / D19
Online course with upgraded access and digital certificate on completion. Enhance your role as a STEM (science, technology, engineering or mathematics) subject teacher by linking curriculum learning to careers. Through weekly tasks, you will identify how to adapt your STEM curriculum, engaging your students in careers linked to their classroom learning. Learn from experienced educators who have adapted their teaching, worked with employers and collaborated with local STEM Ambassadors to create a careers-linked curriculum that both engages and inspires students within the STEM subjects.
Upgraded access provides you with a digital certificate on completion and no time limit to access to the course content, for as long as it exists on FutureLearn. Purchasing upgraded access through STEM Learning is cheaper than the standard upgrade on FutureLearn and is only available prior to the course start date. With an upgrade, you will be eligible for recognition of your professional development with STEM Certificates. These terms and conditions apply.
Free access to this course is available here, but is time-limited and does not include a STEM Certificate.
If no dates are shown, you may still be able to join this course directly on FutureLearn.
“We are really pleased to see the development of this course, which helps teachers of STEM subjects embed careers guidance within the curriculum. Supporting teachers in this way will help schools and colleges as they work towards the eight Gatsby Benchmarks and provide excellent career guidance to all their students.” - Beth Jones, Careers Programme Manager, Gatsby Foundation
