Summary
Teachers will have the opportunity explore a range of CCEA curriculum resources in a hands-on, practical way. Throughout the course of the event participants will reflect on the Northern Ireland Curriculum and examine how science learning can progress from Key Stage 3 into Key Stage 4.
Outcomes
- knowledge of how the key stage 3 science curriculum contributes to effective preparation for life and work
- understand how to support progression in learning in science at KS3
- be able to use an enquiry-based approach to practical science at KS3
- be able to identify skills development in science learning
