Lewisham Subject leaders’ network RE121 / D12
Summary
This is a local network meeting facilitated by local teachers to share good practice.
We have a visitor from National Farmers Union to share their 'STEMterprise' resources, which are excellent cross curricular projects based on helping children to understand where food comes from. Also during the session, subject leaders will be given the chance to reflect on the intent of their curriculum design and to consider how to ensure it is implemented to give the anticipated impact. We will also be exploring the meaning of science enquiry and working scientifically and how to carry out practical work safely. Please can participants bring a couple of books from two children in different year groups that are middle achievers and have good attendance. If you record learning in class books, please bring one or two of these.
Please see individual dates for further information.
