Primary science TeachMeet: Romsey RM099 / A01
An informal and friendly opportunity to share good ideas about teaching Science in primary schools, and hear what others are doing.
At a TeachMeet, through a series of short micro-presentations you get to hear about a range of different teaching strategies, resources and ideas that you can then take back and use to improve your own practice.
You are welcome to come along just to hear from others, but if you have something to share that would be even better. If you would like to present an idea, please contact email@example.com in advance, or just sign up on the day!
Ideas of suitable micro-presentation;
Something you have tried and now use
Something your learnt on a course or INSET day
A trip you took students on
A way of building Science into maths or English lessons
You will be able to:
- explore various activities that link literacy with science
- develop a suite of science activities that can inspire and engage young learners
- develop a toolbox of ideas for science investigations that can be woven into the primary curriculum
