Summary
EYFS study Science under the umbrella of Knowledge and Understanding of The World.
Participants will develop their understanding of how Science links with the EYFS Curriculum. They will explore a range of topic-based strategies, which can be used to create a strong base for Key Stage 1 Science. Participants will explore Working Scientifically skills linked to the EYFS Curriculum. They will also be able to observe some lessons in order to witness science in action.
Outcomes
· Have clear understanding of Science links in EYFS Curriculum.
· Gain ideas of planning lessons with specific Science focus
· Learn strategies to develop enquiry skills
