Summary

Learn how to apply science to real life STEM contexts and explore ways to develop your students' STEM skills.

This course will help you to develop and embed STEM skills within the secondary curriculum. It will provide an opportunity to learn about STEM careers through networking with local STEM Ambassadors and provide real examples of the application of science.

Outcomes

You will be able to:

  • describe what good STEM provision in secondary school looks like
  • have a greater understanding of the range of careers options in STEM fields
  • develop ideas of how to use your knowledge of STEM careers in the classroom to support pupils to apply science learning in different contexts
