Summary
This is a network meeting to give science NQT's, trainee teachers and inexperienced teachers a forum to meet and chat to share experience.
The focus of this session will be;
o Preparing students for examinations
o Understand the different skills and understanding students require to be successful in examinations
o Examine what we want to achieve in lessons as we near examinations
o Share different approaches for supporting students in the run-up to examinations, and evaluate them
Outcomes
Participants will be able to:
- keep up to date with the latest developments in teaching and the science curriculum
- receive face to face support from experienced science teachers
- build a network of local contacts
- discuss issues relevant to your own class teaching
